Course Description

The PLC training course is a 30 hour, 5 week class conducted in a modern, well-equipped lab.  It is lead by a proven PLC instructor with over 35 years of real world PLC automation experience.  The CGTC Industrial Controls Lab offers hands-on trainers using Allen Bradley SLC500, PLC-5, CompactLogix, ControlLogix hardware and Factor Talk Studio.  This PLC course concentrates on developing skills for the Intermediate Level PLC Craftpersons.  It introduces the student to the next leve of the PLC programming.  Students learn ControlLogix; Chassis Configuration, TAG Configuration, Introduction to HMI Programming, Peer to Peer Communications.

Learner Outcomes

The course enables students to update and improve their PLC skills, and is designed to meet local industry needs for continually updating employee PLC skills.
